"We tried it so you don't have to."
I often encounter that in posts trying out many options and telling us what they found favorable. Cheekily phrasing it that way makes it sound like they're doing us a favor.
Sometimes, I would rather do the testing myself because, for one, I don't know these people. I don't know where they are coming from and if they're sincere in their recommendations. And then sometimes, the fun is in the exploration and discovery.
But then there's one thing that I am forever grateful that Someone else did it so I don't have to. Someone died in my place so I don't have to suffer eternal death, away from the holy presence of God.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking the penalty for my sins and giving me the opportunity to be with You in heaven forever, when I asked for forgiveness of my sins, and accepted you as my Savior.
