"Don't trust anybody who is paid to speak other people's lines." I remember reading that from somewhere when I was a lot younger which made my exit from the celebrity-crazy culture club quicker before I got sucked into it. I still admire a few of course but I don't expect anything from them other than a good performance because they are human. They are as human as I am. I will let people down...correction: I have let people down and will definitely continue to do so for as long as I am in this corruptible body. No one is perfect and immune from letting people down because they reveal themselves to be who they truly are except for one and His Name is Jesus Christ.

He who was fully man (and fully divine) when His feet walked the sands and on water never failed anyone, never let anyone down, and never sinned against God. He revealed Himself to be the image of God and He lived and died and resurrected and ascended revealing only the perfect image of the Father. So if there is one person we need to exalt with full knowledge we will never be taken by negative surprise, it is He and only He. Only He deserves our adulation and worship.
