TRAVEL SELFIES
Somebody has ruffled the feathers of Pinoy netizens with his travel photos. I didn't read the articles but gathering from the comments, it seems like they're annoyed at how many he posts and he's always blocking the views. Dont know why this has become news because those annoyed could just stop following him who justifies his narcissism with the difficulty of getting a visa.
This reminds me of how we tend to block God's works in our lives by putting ourselves front and center, grabbing all the credit ("self-made"), dissing Him ("f*** u"), or denying His existence altogether. If there's anything the pandemic has shown us is how limited we are that we need something or someone bigger and greater than us. How many of us who survived combined two hydrogens and one oxygen when our rate was falling below dangerous levels?
For all the blessings we receive from on high, let's point to God when we tell others about them. For all the challenges that we have overcome, let us point to His mercies. Not to ourselves, never to us. Let's always put Him front and center where He belongs.
