THE MOST DANGEROUS AND REAL CONSPIRACY THEORY

God the Son died on the cross to save us, sinners, and three days later, naghahanap tayo ng itlog with a kuneho.

Conspiracy theories abound from the Illuminati to plandemic to Taylor Swift which may be a cause for concern for those who adhere to them or a source of amusement for the skeptics. But there is nothing more dangerous and nothing amusing about having an easter egg hunt follow the death of our Lord Jesus Christ. Why? Because a dead Christ is a dead Christ.

  • A dead Christ shows that His sacrifice was a failure as it was not accepted by the Father as perfect (Heb. 9:11-14).
  • It shows that He remains as dead as all the other religious leaders and sinners like Hitler and the 9/11 terrorists.
  • It shows that He was a false prophet for He prophesied many times how He will rise from the dead (Mark 9:3-32).
  • It shows that He is not God at all.
  • And we are all in trouble as no one can get to heaven.

It is because His tomb is empty and His resurrection was witnessed by both friends and foes alike (1 Cor. 15:6, Mt. 28:11-15) that we know that Jesus was neither a lunatic nor a liar, but that He was who He claimed to be---the Son of God who came to make heaven accessible to us, sinners.

Reflecting on the death of Jesus and celebrating it with an easter egg is trying to mix oil and water as the easter bunny has its roots in paganism. To put it crudely, it's like celebrating Christmas with your family and New Year with your other family and say how the season is for family.

Celebrating Resurrection Sunday with an Easter egg is another whip that tore the flesh of our Lord Jesus on the day of His arrest and crucifixion, as the fun egg hunt makes us forget that He rose from the dead, that He was the only who was prophesied to be the Savior hundreds of years prior to His birth, and that He was the only who prophesied His own resurrection. It will make us forget the need to face the decision of accepting Him as our personal Lord and Savior and our soul will not be rerouted from its original hellish destination. Is our eternity worth a beautifully-painted egg that will rot in a matter of days?
