THE KAKAMPINK GOSPEL

"I have no sympathy for the jeepney drivers. Yan ang resulta ng binoto nila," said somebody frustrated.

When the 2022 election results showed the return of the family ousted almost 40 years ago, some kakampinks expressed their frustration with a threat of withdrawing their help when the time comes. For one netizen, the time has come with the ("communist-inspired") jeepney strike.

To fellow kakampinks, let us remember how it is more radical to love the unlovable. (Actually, Leni was not the originator of that concept. It was God who not only loves the unlovable, but continues to pursue them, or should I say, us.

He loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

He demonstrated this love for us that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. It is the same Christ who said to love our enemies.)

Going back, the unity voters are not our enemies. They were just exercising their democratic right.

The jeepney strike is a good opportunity to show that the pink spirit is real, that it did not end last May 9th otherwise the rosas that we sang was just a trapo campaign jingle.
