TESSIE AT THE CAROUSEL

Pinoys are bowled over seeing the country's richest doing what every plane passenger does---wait at the carousel. The original post-er pointed out how others in her business group were nowhere to be seen as they have "assistants presumably delivering their baggage to their cars."

Filipinos love seeing the high and mighty do ordinary things which is how two presidents endeared themselves to their followers by eating with their hands and sleeping in a kulambo. One fashionista influencer had herself recorded doing tusok-tusok with a pisbol.

But no one comes close to what Jesus did. The Son of God did the most "masa" of things by becoming the Son of Man. The Divine Creator became flesh and blood like His creation and "moved into the neighborhood." (John 1:14, The Message) He did not only live among us but He died a horrible death for us and was resurrected, just as He prophesied. Jesus did this not to get votes or to be pa-cute. He did it so we can be saved from our sins and be with God in heaven if we humbly ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
