SUWERTE!

A feng shui practitioner who predicted that 2020 would be a "strong, prosperous and lucky year” has admitted that feng shui “is not 100 percent perfect." He likened it to “weather prediction, may mga ginagamit silang tools and modules. Ganun din kami sa feng shui. May mga tools din kami. And just like sa pag-predict ng weather, minsan sasabihin ng weather forecaster uulan pero hindi naman umuulan. Ganun din kami sa feng shui,”

Feng shui is not anything like meteorology which is a science that studies weather patterns. You earn the right to become a meteorologist with a "pre/co-requisite knowledge in higher mathematics, advanced physics and chemistry, as well as a good computer proficiency.” Yes, sometimes, it doesn't rain when they say it will. And here’s why.

With God, it is He and He alone. Never God + feng shui, God + horoscope, or God + whatever. He demands absolute loyalty and warns us not to “practice fortune-telling” nor “turn to mediums or necromancers.” (Leviticus 19:26, 31)

"Wala naman mawawala kung maniwala, di ba?" Malaking mawawala sa atin when we have chopsuey commitment to God. When we claim to believe in God and something else, usually that something else takes the lead. First thing in the morning, we will check our horoscope even before we pray and read the Bible---if at all. And when the prediction is bad, we become afraid and wear the masuwerte color to fend it off. Soon, we find ourselves following our favorite manghuhula more than God.

But what if 2020 makes a turnaround and indeed becomes a strong, prosperous year? The thing is, is it for us all? And it doesn't matter if one prediction came true because if you will check all predictions, fulfillment has never been 100%. But with God, His Word is and has always been 100% accurate. It has never failed, not even once. So why follow anything less?
