ALL of us---whether we believe in God or not---will recognize the King of Kings when we are in His presence on judgment day AND we will ALL bow down. The question is, will we do so in excitement like a star-struck fan or will we fall to our weakened knees upon realizing we have been wrong in not believing and obeying Him?
When we ALL in unison confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, will we pull back our elbows to the sides of our upper torso and shout, "YES! Jesus Christ is Lord!" or will our eyes bulge in fear and whimper with our lips, "Oh no, Jesus Christ is Lord...."?
I went to my 35th high school reunion and was surprised that I couldn't recognize most of the people when just five years prior, I didn't need a cheat name tag. It's not that my memory failed me, but, well, let's just say some things were added and some things receded to make them unrecognizable. And then some didn't finish high school with us so it's been more than 35 years since I last saw them.

This experience reminded me of people who wonder if we would recognize each other in heaven. I cannot find a definite answer to that in the Bible but one thing I know, we will immediately recognize its Homeowner.

Even though none of us have seen God physically, except for some biblical characters, we will recognize Him immediately when we stand in His presence.

All the biblical characters who have been F2F with God while on earth, recognized Him immediately, not necessarily because they have seen Him before but because He revealed Himself to them. It's like coming up to a batch mate and immediately introducing ourselves and being recognized as such.

But even though we have not seen God physically, we have seen Him in Christ Jesus (of course not physically). By the Holy Spirit do we know Him. It's like meeting an online friend and being able to recognize him/her at the first meet-up because s/he oozes with the personality we have come to know through our back-and-forth communication.
